Purple Boy Akira 8D

YAY! I'm done with this picture now. I really enjoyed coloring it, and I learned a lot about cging with it too. I did not draw this. I only colored and added the text and stuff. The lineart is by , and she was so kind as to let me color it! Here's the original lineart here. If you fav this picture, I'm sure ~Kiiro-chan would appreciate it if you faved her lineart as well. Well, anyway, this picture is a fanart of Akira from the anime and manga Hikaru no Go! His school uniform was always this sort of color in both the anime and manga, and his hair and eyes were sometimes purple in the manga. So, that's why I made him all purple, and PURPLE is my most favorite color! So, I just had to make my fav character my fav color. So purpley...*ahem* X3 I even made a short fanfic below to go with the picture. If you are new to Hikaru no Go, you might not completely understand it, but you might still enjoy it. Oh, and I'm very happy to say there is no yaoi or any of that stuff in there. I never did like that stuff anyway.

Interview with Akira Touya from the anime and manga Hikaru no Go!

Me:  Akira!  Your shoes look so shiny and purple in the picture Kiiro-chan drew and I colored of you!  What do use to shine them?
Akira:  Grape jelly.
Me:  .......r..rReally?!
Akira:  Yes, it gives them that purple sheen and makes them smell like grapes too.  The girls at my school seem to enjoy it very much.
Me:  ...Interesting...You know, purple is my favorite color...especially violet, and you seem to be made of plenty of that color!
Akira:  *laughs*  Yes, I know.  I really like the color too.
Me:  What is your favorite color?  Do your shoes really smell like grapes?
Akira:  I don't really know, but purple is nice color.  Yes they do.
Me:  Can I smell them?  *goes to smell his shoes*  Good Lord!  They really do!  They smell like Welches Sugarless Grape Juice.
Akira:  Yep....
Me:  Maybe I should try that with my shoes sometime..So, anyway, your hair and eyes have been many colors in the manga: blue, black, green, and of course purple!
Akira:  Yeah, Obata really never could choose a color for me to stick with.  He said my hair color was fun to change to whatever the color theme was of the picture I was in.  He also made me wear color eye contacts to change my eye color.
Me:  Can you blame him, though?
Akira:  Um...I guess not, but having my hair color changed so often fried my hair.
Me:  0.o  Oh, my...It always looks so silky, though!    If it's so fried all the time why didn't it ever look that way?  What is your natural hair and eye color too?
Akira:  Obata Sensei's copic markers really did the trick I assume.  They sure do  make silky color shifts for hair....Natural color?  Oh, blue eyes and black hair...
Me:  Maybe I should try those markers sometime on my art, huh?  Blue eye's and black hair?  Then that means your eyes and hair are natural today!  *has blues eyes and black hair in natural colors for this interview*  While we'er on the subject of hair, who cuts it for you?
Akira:  My mother.
Me:  WwwWHAT?!  Your mother?!
Akira:  Well..yeah, she cuts my hair and trims 1/4 an inch off every month...Is that bad?
Me:  Well, no.  She does a really good job, Akira!  It's just that you have so much money and all, so I figured you go to a really nice hair salon to get it cut by a professional hair dresser.
Akira:  Actually, my mother used to be one before she married my dad, and then she quit, because my dad made so much money that she didn't have to work anymore.  She says she's the only one who she'll let cut my hair.  She knows exactly how she wants it to be.
Me:  Have you ever wanted to cut you hair the way you wanted to?
Akira:  Not really.  If my parents love me more if I stay this way, then that's the way my hair should be.
Me:  .......................*Ahem*.....There are so many mean things I could say to you right now, but I'll just keep them to myself....
Akira: .....Huh?...Mean things..to me?  Why?...
Me:   Um..nevermind!  Let's change the subject.
Akira:  um...ok..
Me:  You know Icchan at your go salon, right?
Akira:  Why yes I do.  She's a good friend.  She's like a mother figure to me.  She feeds me the best food ever that she cooked herself like pies and cakes, and drives me lots to lots of places, and just spoils me. *laughs*  She's often took me to and from school.
Me:.................*giggles*..........
Akira:   What?....*is clueless*  What is it?...
Me: ...well.  I think she likes you.
Akira:  I know.  I'm her freind too.  *is still completely oblivious*
Me:.....I ah...um....I meant that I think she likes you more than a friend.
Akira:  *face is horrified and moth drops open in  pure  disgust*  ......EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!  I'D NEVER DATE THAT HAG!!!  SHE'S GETTING WRINKLES AND HAS ORANGE HAIR!!!!!!!!!!  (*Arthour's personal thoughts, "I do honestly feel that Akira really would feel this way if he had any inclination that Icchan...you know..had the hots for him! XD  He'd probably not have a very pleased reaction to it, you know?")
Me:  Calm down, Akira. *is trying to be comforting*  I only said that maybe she likes you more than a friend...just maybe...
Akira: .....*is catching his breath and sits back down*  I...I really *huff*...*huff* hope it's not true....
Me:  I hope so too.  She's like 15 years older than you!  *makes a face of disgust as well* Yuck...It really would be gross if she felt that way about you.  If she said she did you'd probably move to another country.  Um...let's change the subject...
Akira:  Yeah, I would move to Antarctica....Yes!  Let's change the subject...
Me:  Ok!  Sure.  What do you think about Shindo and the go player that was on the internet called Sai.
Akira:   I've done some hard thinking about that, and, just between you and me,  I think Shindo has split personalities.  One is Shindo Hikaru who wants to become a professional Go player, and the other's name is Sai who is a master of Go and old joseki techniques like Shusaku.  It's the only logical explanation!  It has got to be the truth!  *starts getting a little flustered with the compassionate anger of rivalry*  I just don't know how to bring out the Sai personality from Hikaru....I just can't figure it out....maybe he's on medication now, and that stops him from having split personalities? 0.O
Me:   *busts out laughing*  Ah...Hun if only you knew!
Akira:  KNEW WHAT?!!  TELL ME!!!  What do you know about Shindo and Sai!!!
Me: opps...0.0 ......I know NOTHING!!!  I SWEAR!!!
Akira:   *bolts out of his chair* I don't believe you!  What do you know about shindo and sai!!!
Me:   ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!!  I promise I nothing about them...
Akira:  ....I'll give you 3,000,000 yen if you'll tell me the truth!
Me: ......Are you SERIOUS?! *_*  Where do you have that kind of money?!
Akira:  I'm totally serious, you tell, and I'll give you the money right now!
Me:  Hallelujah Jesus Christ !  I'm SO telling you everything!
Akira:  *hands her the money*  Start then.  *sits down with arms crossed with intent game face on*
Me:  ....Where to start...Well, um..There was this guy back in the Heian period who was a teacher of Go to the Emperor, but there was also this other Go teacher.  They decided to have a match to determine who the Emporer would countinue to keep as the teacher, because he only need one.  The other teacher cheated and blamed it on Sai.  Sai got kicked out of the city, and commited suicide in the river, because he was useless to the world...
Akira:  Where are you going with this?  How does relate to Shindo and Sai anyway?...
Me:  I might not of gotten to the Shindo part yet, but I'm talking about Sai already, aren't I?!
Akira:  Well, yeah, but..
Me:  *butts in*  Well then!  I'll countine with my completely true story.
Akira's Thoughts: =_=....is she mentally ill too?...I'm surrounded by mentally ill people:  her, Shindo, Ogata, Occhi....wait could I also be mentally ill as well?  Hm..If I were, what would I have?  Biopolar Depression maybe?...hm..I guess I should be more social...
Me:  So, Sai trapped his soul in a goban, and then 800 years later a young boy name Torajiro came to the Goban and Sai became part of his conciousness.
Akira's Thoughts:  This girl really is insane...so insane that she makes me feel like I'm not mentally ill in any way.  So, I take it back about all the Bipolar stuff....that's makes me feel somewhat better.  I don't need to see that quack from downtown.
Me:  Through Torajiro, Sai palyed Go.  Then Torajiro became Honinbo Shusaku the 14th with Sai's playing ability.  Then Torajiro died at 34, and Sai reinhabited the goban.
Akira's Thoughts:  What kind of medicine would you put a person like her on?!  Geeze...I guess I should I pray for her to find a decent one...
Me:  Then in 1998, Hikaru found the goban with Sai in it, and Sai became part of his consciousness...
Akira:  WHAT  THE?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  YOU EXPECT ME TO BELIEVE THAT?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Me:  Well, it's the truth!!
Akira:  OK CRAZY GIRL, GIVE ME BACK MY MONEY!!!
Me:  NO WAY!  I TOLD YOU THE TRUTH JUST LIKE YOU ASKED, AND I WASN'T EVEN FINISHED!!!
Akira:  GIVE IT BACK!!
Me:  NOOOO!!!  *runs away*
Akira:  WAIT!!  GIVE ME BACK MY MONEY!!!.....................Oh, no.  *starts to cry* she took all the money I've ever had....I've saved it up since I was 2..and just to have it stolen from me...no...It's NOT OVER TILL IT'S OVER!!  I'm getting my money back!!  *runs after her*




..........................*from a far far away distance a voice is heard speaking to it's self*  The voice said, "I'm filthy rich...I'm just sooo filthy rich!  Thank you God for giving me the chance to interview that sweet rich boy. *sniffles*  thank you! ;_;  ....*sniff sniff*..huh?!  This money..it smells..just like grapes...does that boy use this fragrance on everything? =_= Geeze!  If he keeps doing that, somebody's just going to come around someday and eat 'em....."
